When is the last time you actually wrote a letter by hand, affixed a stamp, and posted it? For many people, it has been ages. Try writing something as simple as a post-card, or check out the Felt app. It allows you to add a photo, write some text (or type it), and they will print a special card to go straight to that special someone. With lots of themes to choose from, try it out!
Studies have shown that people appreciate being ‘thought of’ in a unique way that forces us to put pen to paper. Technology has changed so much that we now use email and instant messaging services more than anything! I’m not saying to abandon technology. Not at all! What I’m saying is, if you are going to share some news with someone, and it’s important news, it should be done in a physical manner, either in person or by hand (letter). The recipient will truly appreciate the thought that went into it!
